This took me about fifteen minutes to categorize, because it doesn't really fit into anything- it's black paper that was cut out and pasted onto illustration board.
A project for my Visual Design class. Everything was cut out by hand with an Xacto knife, even all that grass. My eyes and my fingers are not very happy with me right now....

It is really vivid and striking… if a little hard on the eyes!

That's really cool. I remember doing something like that in Highschool a few years ago. Yeah... it was an annoying project... hmm. I wonder if there are some of my scraps from that time.

Thanks!
It was a bit of a pain making it, but I think the outcome was worth the trouble.:)

Oh wow! That is amazing!

I hate exacto knives with a vengeance. We had to cut out little details in card paper to make this huge diorama one year... Ugh. I got the dullest blade possible every time.

Thank you!

My blade is brand new so cutting wasn't so hard, but all those little grass blades...:shakefist: That part was pretty tedious.

Ew... I bet it was. D: All those tiny corners and there are so many of them!
