Colored version of a sketch that I did ages ago and don't feel like linking back to :P (it's in scraps if you're interested). I think this is the first picture of Gabriel I've uploaded (not including the crappy sketch I did a looong time ago when he was just a wee speck in my imagination). I was planning on using this for AP, but I'm not sure how I'll fit it into my concentration. Plus, the AP board is still stuck in their ancient ways and will not accept digital portfolios, even though every art college I looked at wanted them. AP still wants regular, physical slides, which is unfortunate for anyone doing digital pictures like myself. I have to print this out and then take a picture of it if I want to use it, and it loses a lot of the subtle color details along the way, especially in a piece that's as dark as this one. Ah well, we'll see. :hmm:

The men's fashion industry should bring back the 19th century. Seriously, I think it would make a lot of guys more attractive. And top hats? Oh yeah.:D

Sorry I feel like a stalker just going through your whole gallery but I adore your work and I looove this one. Not sure what it is but I just want to keep looking at it....maybe it's just 19th century men, they're usually worth looking at ;P And you gotta love Gabriel! yum yum :D

Great expression, and I love the rain effect you made! Rain is a pain in the butt for me. =P

varrrry nice! I especially like how he's all reflected-like in the window.

Yes, AP is stupid. I thought they were changing the slides rule this year to digital files? Guess not, then. Pathetic. Maybe next year, eh?

I like how dark and rainy and gloomy it is.

also, I agree with you about the men's fashion industry. However, the first thing that popped into my head is that then even MORE guys would look even gayer than they do already. Because Victorian era clothes makes everyone look gay. (It should be noted that in my personal opinion, looking gay is a very good thing, no matter the gender of the individual.)

I love top hats too. I'd like to see Gabriel in a top hat.

Thank you :)

My teacher said they were considering it for next year, but she doesn't have much hope that it'll happen then either.

Looking gay is a good thing.:D Anything is better than the guys who think they're 'ghetto'. Most of the guys at my school wear these huge pants that must be held up at the crotch when they walk or else they'll fall off completely. The pants themselves look ridiculous enough, but it makes them walk funny too.:XD:

awww, ghetto gangsta boys. We had a bunch of them at my high school, and one day I went and Slammed for a first-year English class that happened to contain a few of them, and then when they saw me in the hall a few days later (as I was peddling an animal rights petition), they made me Slam for them and all their friends in exchange for their signatures on my petition. It was a pretty sweet deal.

Ironically, the Slam piece I performed was a feminist rant.
