There is an appalling lack of fanart for this series on DA.
The series I speak of is Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate, and the first book is titled "Soulless" (go read it, now). It's a supernatural steampunk romantic comedy, but the best way to describe it would be AWESOME.
