Needlework

Whew! Finished! My contest submission for The theme was brothers and sisters, and originally I wanted to do Jon and Robb, but it seems everyone else had the same idea, so I chose Arya and Sansa instead. I wasn't planning on a full-blown background, but after I finished sketching the girls it was obvious I needed one. I don't like the trees at all, but I wasted a good few hours of my life on them and don't have the heart to redo them. Plus the contest deadline's in three days and I don't have time.

For those who haven't read the A Song of Ice and Fire series, first of all shame on you, go read them now!. Second, Arya's sword is named Needle, so the title has a double meaning. I wanted to show how different the two Stark sisters were. This must be when they're on the way to King's Landing, because the scenery's too green to be Winterfell.
